Assaying

Moonlight Bullion Refinery implemented automated potentiometric titration and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry – for flawless detection of precious metals content of your valuable silver jewelry or raw material or pure gold and silver. Methodologies in our laboratory are verified and approved by The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT).

We think every customer deserve absolute confidence in their precious metals valuation, that is why you receive not only the fairest possible return based on undeniable data, but also a detailed report for full transparency.

All batches are tasted using ICP-OES – high-accuracy method that confirms high purity 99.99% of precious metals. The ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma – Optical Emission Spectroscopy) is an elemental analysis technique based on the measurement of light, emitted by atoms or ions excited in a high-energy plasma of testing substences.

Lorem ipsum odio vulputate

This standard is used for the preparation of samples for the quantitative analysis of silver content in precious metal alloys containing between 90.00% and 99.99% silver, using the ICP-OES technique.

Potentiometric auto titration is the standard used for the preparation of samples for the quantitative analysis of silver content in precious metal alloys containing between 10% and 99% silver.

The laboratory implements quality control by performing duplicate analyses for each sample, as well as analyzing QC samples. The evaluation criterion is the percentage relative percent difference (%RPD), which must be less than 1%, according to ISO 11427: Jewellery – Determination of Silver in Silver Jewellery Alloys – Volumetric (Potentiometric) Method Using Potassium Bromide.
